Watched the media interview with Babcock after the last game.. the guy is so cool and could be part of the reason that Detroit took today's game 3 - 2. Way to go, Detroit.
What were you smoking?
$1:
1st 2nd 3rd T
Detroit 0 2 2 4
Chicago 1 0 0 1
My bad guys........I didn't watch the game and obviously got the score terribly wrong. Glad the same that Detroit took it.
Did watch the Sharks vs Kings game and was very happy to see Logan Couture get the winner in OT. Lots of controversy over those two late penalties by the Kings.

Jason Spezza will be in the line-up for Ottawa tonight on home ice. Will he be a difference-maker or will his addition to the line-up at this stage cause problems for the players.........we will see.
Would really be nice to see my Pens take this game ....but I never count out the value of playing at home for a team......it could lift the Sens into some all-out offense and tight defence.
GO, PENGUINS, GO!

Fixed that last line for ya.....

Nobody watching the Ottawa game tonight?
raydan @ Sun May 19, 2013 7:59 pm
Yup... those guys between the pipes are playing good... especially Anderson.
Hyack @ Sun May 19, 2013 8:24 pm
Yeah, both teams are still playing good, thanks to Alfredsson's SHG at 19:31! Still not really pleased with the officiating again tonight with penalties going 5-2 in Pittsburgh's favour. It seems to me that every time a Canadian team plays an American team there is always a large discrepancy between the number of penalties handed out, or the number of "missed" calls, usually in favour of the American team. Cooke gets his stick into Karlsson's face right in front of the ref.....no call??
raydan @ Sun May 19, 2013 8:27 pm
The bigger problem is Ottawa giving it away or Pittsburgh's taking it away.
Hyack @ Sun May 19, 2013 8:39 pm
Greening scores 2-1 Ottawa
raydan @ Sun May 19, 2013 8:42 pm
Good game guys!

I have to agree with you, Hyack. Even though I am a Pens fan, the refs were asleep when Cooke had the high-stick on Karlsson.......then Karlsson gets called for the same thing.......what the hell was that?
Anderson was outrageous in this game, stopping all but one puck.
Spezza showed why he is such an important member of this team.......but Alfie....what can I say....the Captain rules again. Fab goal to take the game to OT.
It was the best game of the series so far, IMO but the Pens let me down when they diddled around during the PP in the dieing minutes of the 3rd. The Sens deserved this one.......hope the Pens get it back together for Game 4.

Both goalies were outstanding in this game but Anderson was just slightly better. LOL!

Nice win by the Red Wings last night.....gotta wonder what it going on with the Hawks.

Good goal-tending from the Red Wings.

Piss poor officiating last night. The Hawks tieing goal should never have been waved off.

The Bruins are going for the sweep.
The Sharks tonight are showing the Kings how to play hockey... at least halfway through the match.
