Three sweeps! Ouch. PDT_Armataz_01_23

...and Ovechkin scored the fatal goal while Crosby, Staal, Tanguay, Savard and Marleau (5 players among best 13 scorers in NHL this season) were not selected. PDT_Armataz_01_33

1+1=2

Hmm to the team Canada guys...Maybe if you could in the next two months look at the Finish, russian, Swedish or Czech players on your team and ask them if you can have a look at thier medal that they played for and EARNED....

And I suppose team Quebec would have done far better... if they would have been there,,,,,

twister @ Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:08 pm

Savard... Marc savard should have been there... hmm no.. Crosby Tanguay and Staal along with Phaneuf yes.. Marc savard only has those point cause he's riding the coattails of the dynamic mr. Kovalchuk.....

Sure!

Considering that Switzerland won against Canada, I think that even team PEI with B. Richards could have done better... if they would have played like a united team, the "littl thing" that team Canada forgot to do.

I hope they will learn something from this humiliating performance for Vancouver 2010.

Toro @ Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:18 pm

Last 11 periods played, Canada got shut out in 10 of them.

Hard to win a gold medal when that happens.

May be, but it's just ironic that Team Canada was swept 3 times while 5 of the 13 best NHL scorers didn't make the team. Like if goals were not important...

$1:
Quinn.. hmmm F**K off

I kind’ a like Quinn.

I remember one game against Carolina where they were down by one goal and there was about 5 seconds left in the game. Quinn called a time out and devised a plan that was actually successful.

They lost in overtime in the end but it was a great effort.

I think they will only because.. they have too now.... losing a game in Italy and getting shut out of the medal is one thing but losing with what was not even an honest effort.. is PATHETIC

at home in 2010 with Canada watching.. If they mail in the games like they did here... burn it down and start over.....

Regina @ Wed Feb 22, 2006 5:27 pm

Twister that sounds like an invitation to stay at your place so watch in 2010.

wow one time where was that coaching expertise.. at the games.. and during the regular season.. Quinn makes me sick.

5 seconds left.. coaching strategy

Goalie on bench face off in thier end extra man on.. here we go boys:....
Let's see win the draw.. pass to the open man ...shoot the puck crash the net.. score the goal...
If we loose the draw 3 men go to the puck work it out front every one else crash the net draw down to the slot.. covered both sides.. would you like to see me draw it up that way...

fuck that was so hard...

I agree, what this team also needed was some Yzerman......

canucker @ Wed Feb 22, 2006 8:00 pm

I agree Twister, and I think Quinn is past his prime. Sutter, IMO, would have been the best choice.

Side note.... anyone else notice how much more Twister is incorporating swearing into his posts recently? What's up Twister?
