They played as individuals. Not a team. Sickens me, this is what you get for bringing egotistic maniacs. Bring back the ams next time

   

The womens game was sharper, the passes looked effortless and they had time to gell as a team. The men didn't have that and it showed, big time.

   

Considering the amount of injuries I doubt wether the NHL will even allow them to play in four years.

   

From what I saw in a couple previous games, they weren't playing as a team. Looked to me like they were all trying to be the hotshots of the game, and when you play like that in a team sport, you won't get anywhere.

The women did an excellent job of helping each other out, and passing the puck around and that's why they won. Teamwork.

That's just my take on it.

The Russians obviously out-played Canada and we took way too many stupid penalties!

   

Poor coaching. Leafs fans can rave about Quinn all they want but I saw absolutely no strategy, no tactics, and poor line shuffling. 30 goal scorers have no excuse and I think the team should have had younger players like Staal and Phenuf. Questionable picks for this team and I would blame Gretzky but with all the crap he's had to go through I'm willing to cut him a break. 3 shutouts in a row is a disgrace and why only team Canada could go through that I don't know. Team Canada played hard all game but stupid penalties, questionable calls regarding that whistle blow and poor offense. Just no breaks. Tsk tsk.

Canada was not the best team, not even close. We deserved to lose. The coach and the GM should be fired.

The entire Canadian Men's Olympic hockey experience was a disgrace to Canada.

The players played like shit and the coaching was awful.

They only scored in 1 out of the last 12 periods.

No excuses, the refs were decent. We sucked. I could pick 15 strangers from the local adult safe laegue and we could have done better.

I'm going to vomit.

   

Just like Team USA most every year except for 5 minutes in world cup 1996.. and up to the final in 2002.. (then they wilted and started to play as individuals...) (1998 Nagano) just wonder how many hotel rooms Team USA will trash here in Turin 2006....

Gonchar could have been the goat for Russia.. It doesn't boil down to one thing you f**king pinhead.
Penalties are called all the time.. you kill them.. Question is where in the fuck were Heatley, Iginla, Richards, St. Louis, Betuzzi, Blake, Sakic, LeCavalier, McCabe these guys can't generate offence against Russia, Finland or the Swiss....

Brodeur and Luong both played well..
another hallmark of a Pat Quinn coached team... Don't worry about the defence.. fuck we've got two of the best in the world back there... Did we outshoot anyone besides italy, germany or the Swiss. Nope.. Absolutely horrible from this team Abysmal power play, horrible penalty killing.. thier 5 on 5 play sucked.. couldn't make a break out if they tried... No intensity, no heart no drive... they came up short. But just don't blame Bertuzzi.. what was this the first game you ever watched.. fuck people like you piss me off...

Pat quinn should share the blame .. heatley of all people in a checking role with doan and draper....Pat fuck what are you doing.. do you know what your doing.. apparently not...

Should have had
Lecavalier, St Louis and Richards together...
Sakic, Iginla and Heatley.
Bertuzzi, Thorton, Nash
Draper,Smyth and doan.. now thats a grind line....
Work Gagne into and out of lines...
