Olympics Hockey - Men
RUEZ RUEZ:
We should go back to having amateurs play for us at the olympics.
I like it the way it is...at times, Canada gets too cocky and takes things for granted. Another game that they were shut out by a better team.....it sure looks good on them. One more game to play in the preliminary round.....against the Czechs. Now it's time for them to really play their game. When was the last time Canada was shut out 120 min and 34 seconds in Olympic hockey? No excuses next time!
If canada gets shut out against the czech's I will officially become an alcoholic....

Quinn better get his shit together cause these guys aren’t the leafs. He needs to mix up the lines and get something going. We Need goals and wins.We are Canada, hockey is our game and we are the best in the world.

.....Finland took advantage of Canada's unfamiliarity with the bigger international ice surface and a lack of continuity among Canada's four lines.......
If you love hockey, then you have to at least appreciate good play wherever you find it. The Finns played well. Canada still goes to the quarterfinals. This is going to be pretty interesting.

Burns.. Burns.. Burns is still in chemo rehabing his cancer.. It's Pat Quinn thats the head coach. Biggest problem with Quinn is he needs to get into the heads of his players. Same problem he has in Toronto.. no one respects him or listens to what he's saying. He has to mix up the lines to get some chemistry happening or it's going to be a short venture into the medal round...

1-0 Canada on a bit of a weird one. After several minutes without a whistle and flurries of action at both ends, Brad Richards throws the puck at the net from the the blue-line. Vokoun looks to be distracted by Kris Draper, who is streaking in for a potential rebound, and Richards's low and slow shot gets past him.
So, how do they look out there? Anybody?

First period | 16:10
The Czechs hold the fort and kill off Lang's penalty. Still 2-0.
First period | 14:10
The Czechs are called for another penalty. Robert Lang goes off for hooking, giving Canada a good chance to break this game wide-open.
First period | 11:19
2-0 Canada on a semi-softie. With Canada on the powerplay, Martin St. Louis fires a shot from an impossible angle on the goal line to Vokoun's left and it sneaks in.

There's a huge scoreboard up now,can you see it?
