Hansen restores the lead with 4:08 to go in the 3rd period!!......

   

Etem finally wins it in the 7th round in the Shoot-out.......4-3 Canucks

   

And Columbus won too, so the Canucks are still sitting third waiting for the draft lottery. Things worked out for a change. Who knew that could happen? It's an unusual feeling. Hard to know how to react.

But it's possible with this lottery to get pushed back as far as 6th. Things might fall back into place at the end of April then.

   

Nice to see the Win.

It's going to be another one of those Off Seasons though, familiar faces leaving, new faces coming in. Sounds like Burrows played his last game as a Canuck, which I regret, he always had a good work ethic and that got him into the NHL in the first place. Good luck to him though if that's the case.

Hopefully next season the Rebuild starts showing its' potential. At least by making it into the Playoffs. Don't want to end up in a rut like the Oilers or Leafs in that regard. The last half of this Season I really struggled with having interest in watching, due to the inconsistent Play and inability to Win. Perhaps tossing this Season away is something that occurred early on or something, I don't know, but it was painful to watch regardless.

Anyway, Next Season is the one!!

   

For me, the Bruins not making the playoffs is the only good thing that happened in hockey this year.

   

I feel exactly the same about the Habs.

   

Yeah, I have to say I quite enjoyed watching that drubbing yesterday.

   

When is this hockey thing over?

   

Pretty much now. With all the Canadian teams out only the total hockey nuts will care. Gonna be a big hit to TV revenue....
