Texas has death penalty. Iran has death penalty. Does this make Texas like Iran?

You can't really judge a law basing yourself on its situation in another country. Things are much more complicated than that.

Henceforth, in Iran it's illegal to steal. In Canada too. Does this mean Canada is like Iran? For sure not, we just happen to share the belief that stealing is bad.

Oh, and, honestly, the language police is just that, a bunch of policemen. They don't shoot people down and torture them like so many seem to like believing, they just issue fines. If you don't comply, they issue more fines. And if you don't pay your fines, then your stuff gets seized, just like when any type of fine isn't paid to the government.

   

I think this is a fabulous idea!

It would wipe out the Liberal Party in Canada for decades and allow the Tories to rule the country for the rest of my life!
