Avro,

Yes, I voted for him.

No one has posted on the issues I disagree with the president on.

UglyYank @ Thu Nov 04, 2004 9:54 pm

Avro Avro:
Do you agree with this....

-Iraq, no wmd's, no links to 9/11, Osama running free while you are stuck in a stupid war.
-422 billion dollar deficit.
-Rising number of people without health insurance and rising health care costs.
-Cost of presciption drugs forcing Americans to shop in Canada for their medication.
-First President to have a net loss of jobs in over 80 years.
-exporting American jobs overseas and actually giving tax breaks to companies who do so.
-alienating the entire world, who by the way supported you in the Afgan war and the Persian Gulf war.
-Giving tax breaks to the mega wealthy in a time of war.
-600 billion dollar trade deficit.

This is just to name a few of the highlights to this Adminstration.

The election is over. The American people rejected liberalism. Why can't you foreign leftists understand that? In all your extreme arrogance you people cannot get it through your heads that there are other people on the planet that truly reject left-wing kookism.

Wallow in that sh*t up there. We reject it. Deal with it. It's going to be a long four years for you people.

Rev_Blair @ Thu Nov 04, 2004 9:59 pm

So you agree that your president is a war criminal then, Ugly? You agree, but your too hung up in your jingoism and paranoia to do anything about it, is that it?

Zenfisher @ Fri Nov 05, 2004 12:28 am

I don't think the American people rejected liberlism.( that is strange because both parties lean so far to the right) I think the American people elected Georgie Boy out of fear. I think the bin Laden tape pushed some buttons and they voted out of fear and hatred. Thank you for screwing up my life once again mister bin Laden.

I work with a lot of Republicans. I've asked them how they can consider themselves a Republican and vote for George Bush after what he has done to the economy. They immmediately shift the argument to " We had to do it because of the war." That to me says in big capital letters FEAR. Gee, isn't that exactly what terrorists want. Terrorists want George Bush as president. It helps them recruit to no end. This is why I don't understand the mindset of people that voted for George Bush. They are perpetuating the threat against themselves. They throw their core set of ideals out just to elect a bad president.

Do I love my county? I guess, it sure has a better climate than Canada. Do I love the current psycho PNAC regime? No, I'll spend the rest of my life opposing it.

Rev_Blair @ Fri Nov 05, 2004 12:33 pm

That's the difference between patriotism and jingoism, Polaco. You aren;t saying, "My country right or wrong," you are saying, "My country can do better than this."

I encourage you to refuse to give up.

No.

I haven't seen any evidence suggesting that he is.

Moral values ranked first among the reasons people voted for the president. A sound rejection of the liberal left P-Diddy mentality.

Zenfisher @ Sat Nov 06, 2004 7:32 pm

If you look at the numbers( keep in mind I'm playing by memory here....at any rate it wasn't over fifty) moral values were only ranked between 23 and 27 %. It was the highest category of the reasons. That means that people voted the way the did for a lot of different reasons with moral values being the leader. If you combine all the other reeasons they far outway moral values.

As I pointed out the Republicans I have spoken with, indicate that even though little Georgie boy doesn't really follow a conservative economic plan, they voted for him. That means terrorism and Iraq were the major issue. That means the Republicans scared the electorate into voting for them. That would be fear.

It has yet to be seen if the American public really voted the way they did. All the votes have not been counted. Although Kerry concede there will still be many legal challenges brought forth.

Yeah, I am working on memory here as well.

Values were first.
Economy Second
Iraq (or Terror) third
Terror (or Iraq) fouth.

I don't know the actual percentage for each.

However your scientific sampling of "people you know" is hardly worthy of fact. One can argue anecdotal evidence all day, doesn't mean sh*t.

After your scientific sampling you draw this conclusion people were afraid so they voted for the president? People were frightened into voting for Bush?

Pure lunacy. Your are completely detached. There's no hope.

The Republicans went for the fear and hatred vote, Ugly Yank. Look at the campaign and look at what people said. Lets hate gays. Lets hate Arabs. Be afraid of terrorists. Iraq and terror are the same (A lie, by the bushits, but people still believe it).

Your president is a religious zealot who panders to other religious zealots. He is on what amounts to a radical Christian crusade. He is also a greedy pig who went to war for oil. He sells fear as a commodity...mostly fear wrapped in lies.

Insane blather from the demented.

This is why Americans voted no to the whacked out leftist mantra of the lunatic leftist fringe. People of your ilk marginalize themselves with idiotic baseless BS. It worked though, conservatives won.
