Because they know we'd fuck them up. Anyone remember the Riel Rebellion or the FLQ crisis. Canada knows how to deal with agitators.

   

Muslim Canadians are civil and are protesting quietly. In Halifax a professor put the cartoon pictures on his office door and the muslims at the school demonstrated peacefully. Muslims in Canada want to seperate themselves from the violence going on halfway around the world.

   

True. It isn't civilized at all. Everyone knows that you can't have pork rinds without a good beer!

   

The Canadian Muslims come here to escape the insanity of their country of origin. They tend to be better educated and better capable of understanding that if they mess up they will be packed up and sent home. With Stephen Harper at the helm, the idea of the RCMP putting up with any crap is pretty limited. They are also more interested in assimulated into our population instead of segragating themselves. Canadian policy also has a lot to do with it. We try and live side by side with our neighbours and only interfer when they do something stupid...Like beat their wife as my neighbour did. I still can't forget the look on his face when he tried taking a slap at me when I stepped between them... and I broke his nose. Ah, the fun memories!

Correct me on my history, but didn't "we" make laws that basically legalized the brutalization of Metis people across Canada? Wasn't there an "act" that said it was acceptable to beat people in the street for being Metis?

   

Maybe its because as Canadians we are too dam polite to get any dander up..thats except hockey where we might growl abit...

As Canadians we are graceful losers so that makes us a better winner.

   

The funny part is that all the so called educated people of the world do not understand the simple fact....that if you rub someones nose in it , you better expcet a pretty strong reaction...
