Why is Canada different?

   

Oh Canada,
Our home and native land.....

   

Oh please

It's because we didn't print it. If we did, the dam weirdose would be rioting in the streets here aswell.

   

Because in Canada our police would not be party to the violence? Because "our" Muslims know they will go to jail for their crimes?
Not enough Danish flags to burn?

Just some idle thoughts.

   

The muslims in Canada do not have the same numbers (yet) to be able to form a threat to Canada.

But at an immigration rate of 250,000 per year and a birthrate of 3.8 per woman they'll soon enough be confident in their numbers to confront you when they feel like it.

   

I doubt they would be rioting. If we did, they would be demonstrating. The muslim community in Canada has never been violent, to my knowledge.

Difference between us in Canada, and Europe... The muslim communites in Europe are isolated, and don't have participation in European affairs(Its like that for all imigration groups btw). While in Canada, we involve all minorities in our politics. Thats a big difference, that needs to be noted.

   

Like the article said because our Muslims are better educated and clever enough to realize this is an argument they can never win. The other factor is news coverage, who knows what kind of exaggerations and outright lies the state controlled media's in those countries are spreading

Well it's business as usual where I live -- a high Muslim population, lots of Iraqis and Iranians. I suppose if I felt the need to point out that Mohammed was a pedophile and that all Muslims should be buried in pork rinds, things would not be so peaceful. But I choose to respect the beliefs of others, and they choose to respect mine.

Shocking, isn't it?

I guess that means the Calgarian community is full of terrorists.

In Toronto there has been a high number of gun shootings related to black youths this year.....

I guess that means most black people are murderers according to you....

   

His point was that he doesn't insult Muslims, and they live in harmony. And if he did insult them then they wouldn't live in harmony....

Although in Canada if someone printed the pork rind thing in a paper, I think there would be a public outcry, but no large violent demonstrations....

Maybe the odd loose cannon would start a fight......but nothing large scale...

   

I was addressing the never. It ain't totally unheard of C, and ignoring it doesn't make it go away.

Don't start jumping down my throat. I'm not one of the loonies (Bart) chanting death to all muslims. I'm also not going to turn a blind eye to firebombed mosques in the name of being politically correct.

We don't have a large community of fundamentalists (I hope). But it does seem like we may have at least a few fundamentalists bombing churches doesn't it?
