Well hopefully...I am probably going to work for the health region, i currenty work in social care. People keep telling me that the housing market is really expensive but upon first look it doesnt seem too bad compared to the UK. Where are you from?

Lol, i wont, i meta few newfies whilst i was there last year, funny i think they said the same thing to me... its the same when people come to the UK they think that what they find in London is all there is, i'm from northern england and its very very different up here!

Welcome to the Country and to CKA. Fort Mc is not bad at all. The winter is desolate and the trip to Edmunchuk is long in the winter because of much slower speeds on the snowy roads.
The money will be good and even better if you get farther up to say Ft McKay.
You can get some short flights out also to get anywhere in Western Canada in a few hours and rent a vehicle to get around also. Enjoy yourself and welcome to Canada.

The further north you go the more you will find them.
Oh don't lick metal poles in winter. XD

Wecome aboard.
um Welcome I mean , too lazy to hit the back key as it is way over there in the corner of my keyboard. Lazy laid back Canadian I am

I was raised in Fort McMurray but currently live in Scotland. Why the heck do you want to move to McMurray out of all the places in Canada? If you just say it's for the money you're in for a rude surprise lol

Thank you so much for the welcome CanAm1...Whilst i was there i experienced some of the canadian "short" driving trips - in the UK we dont really drive for more than a couple of hours where as in Canada it seems thats just a short trip- or certainly in Alberta anyway... we tried driving to edmonton and also flew down on our way home but i think i can cope with that... Where are you from?
