Ehlers, who showed off a prototype on Wednesday, said women had tried it for comfort and it had been tested on a plastic male model but not yet on a live man.
Any volunteers?
Yeah i had already seen that.
It's good but i think it might turn the attacker more violent, let's say if he's under influence of drugs or something..
I don't care if a guy snorted 3kg of cocaine, then smoked a ki of crack and washed it down with a heroin chaser...when your ****** is impaled in lots of neat ways it WILL garner 100% of your attention, guaranteed.
you DO have a point there Bart!

I'm actually very surprised and shocked that NONE of the ladies have commented in this thread yet!?
So what do all the "babes" out there think about all of this
I posted this story a few weeks back in the news section....right on....serves the shits right if they rape someone. i have no sympathy.

Other critics say the condom is medieval and barbaric
These critics need a kick in the nuts with a frozen boot, as a good start. However if the rapist is HIV positive and bleeding from this, doesn't this expose the victim to contracting HIV too?

I think it's also a condom so it should contain the transfer of body fluids. I suppose there's always a chance though.

It contains the bodily fluids.
They do need a kick in the nuts with a frozen boot, then these critics view rape as a modern social practice or what
It's a great start.
HOWEVER, what if your lady is really pissed off at you.....

I guess the sentiment here is
never ever skip the foreplay!

I'm all for it, but wouldn't the would be rapist just have to check first, using a less sensative appendage/digit??

It might depend on the extraction procedure. Maybe it's not with a finger. I don't know.
That's a really good question.

Le Rapex --qui doit ĂȘtre mis en vente en 2006 au prix d'un rand (un dollar = 6 rands/ un euro = 7,5 rands)-- est introduit dans le vagin avec un applicateur et peut rester en place pendant 24 heures.
This is what i found on Google. Another article, this time in french.
It says it will be sold in 2006 for about 0.20$cdn.
Answering Robair's thought, it doesn't make it clear although it says that a device is used to put it in (i'm assuming that the same device is used to extract it). It also says that it might be used for up to 24 hours.
