Well I'm partial to Virginia, but outside of that I loved Montana. If circumstances were right, I'd even consider living there.
Oregon. Particularly the coast.
Haven't been to many for very long, but other than the obvious Maine and New Hampshire (hardly can tell I'm away from home there), I liked North Carolina... great windsurfing!
My Fave US state has to be....
ENGLAND
Montana.
Used to ski whitefish quite a bit. Plus it's a short drive home to South West Saskatchewan.
Montana - Big Sky
Saskatchewan - Land of Living Skies
Back in the early/mid eighties I used to work my Canadian winters in "Clearwater" Florida.
Florida is too "touristic" to my taste...
My Favorite States have to be the Dakotas.
Mount Rushmore is still to this day "Breathtaking".
Loved the part where on the highways ...they tell you not to stop at night cause the Rattle snakes will seek heat under your vehicle and totally pooch your axels when you try to motor again...
oooooo "Beeffalo" burgers...
Rare!
Loved Montana because of Yellowstone.
Utah was neat because of the geology.
California is all right. What saves CA are the women.
I hated Kansas.
Northern California was very nice, especially the area around Redding (Lake Shasta).
New York The Empire state believe it or not there is alot to see outside of the city.
New MexicoThe land of enchantment. I went last year I had a blast!!
Most of the northern states along the Canadian border are beautiful but the one we like the most is North and South Dakota....Mount Rushmore was the highlight of trip from our days when we were living in Shilo, MB!
I have to say Hawaii.
