True!! Since we moved to Wyoming the only people around are all white people. It's not like I wouldn't be friends with anyone else just there isn't anyone else around!
Wyoming? I'm sorry to hear that.
The largest individual (non-corporate) private landowner in Wyoming is
your head of state. I'd say Megan is in fine company.

Last I checked his 590,823-acre (239,098 ha) ranch is along the New Mexico-Colorado border.

I wasn't sure. It's where the buffalo roam.

Wait, if you moved to Italy (for whatever reason), you would no longer cheer for your country of birth if you had done so originally? Good, I'm glad you can disconnect from nationalism so easily!
Many of them today were born in some of the enclaves/ghettos yet still cheer against the national team, and for the team of their race.

I'm suggesting you wouldn't stop supporting your original national teams, companies, and language just because you moved to some other country. If you can disconnect, good, but very few really do. As such I find it a bit of an unusual expectation.
If people migrate to Canada, and take out Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, they should not be cheering for the team of their original homeland against Canada.
If they want to cheer against Canada then they should leave and go back from whence they came.

Amen. I'm sick to freakin' death of seeing Italian flags flying all over the place around here... not a Maple Leaf in sight. No other group does that to that extent.

Just wait until you folks have a significant population of Mexicans up there. Flying their flags is the least of the things they do.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... ornia.html"Loyal Americans" my ass. The only three US flags in that picture are up front, one is being desecrated and the other two also look like they're being used as ponchos.

Plenty of Americans have
thousands of friends.
On
Facebook.
When I was in high school having friends of another race usually meant Ukrainians.
It was sort of hard to avoid though. With their blond hair, blue eyes and chubby round slavic faces.

Indeed.
But these days, the three with American flags at the front are loyal Americans...'caped crusaders' basically.
Wearing the flag as a cape is the sign of a true patriot.
http://www.getkooky.com.au/australian-flag-cape-australia-day-clothingThe flag was taken down from Bondi Beach two weeks before the Cronulla Riots by the PC brigade of appeasement ...'so as not to offend anyone'.
The result?
'war'!In America, the same thing has happened basically...patriots wearing the flag as a cape.
http://www.theage.com.au/federal-politics/society-and-culture/wearing-the-flag-is-fodder-for-aussie-day-yobbos-20100122-mpsj.htmlThe US Flag Laws and Regulations, section 4d, states: "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding or drapery . . ." In China wearing the flag is simply seen as disrespectful.
Patriots do not wear the US flag. A$$holes do.
