Ah, a wee laddie...or lassie I guess.

Here's a couple that come to mind that might help you to help us GS.

"I still don't know why, but oh, they beat me...I had to have my scalp sewn back on." Hunter Thompson.

"They hated me, that was clear. They're storm troopers and they want to hurt everybody. They think it's funny." A nameless, bleeding person in Miami.

One was talking about the Hells Angels and one was talking about the people in charge and I can't remember which was which. Maybe you can help? :?:

I am not entirely sure which is which, Rev. :?: There was a Hunter S Thompson, but all notable quotes from him do not include the one you have. I'll keep looking though. :)

They really could apply to both, though, eh?

There still is a Hunter Thompson...I'm getting his latest book for X-mas (Shhh...it's a secret). If ya wanna read his sports column, just check out ESPN's Page Two. I think think Hunter might be on drugs.(Shhh...I don't think anybody else has noticed  )

Which is which though? I've been quoting Thompson for a long time now...a habit I learned from him. He used Revelations and I use him. They both do apply.

You'll find the quote (just to be a cagey fucker) in his later works. After the lifestyle bust but before his recent wedding. There's a similar one in at least a couple of his earlier books though.

Nevermind though...just look up the quotes about used car salesmen and let it go at that. Either that or actually read the man's work...not a lot have.

Twila @ Mon Jan 12, 2004 7:05 pm

I just found this quote. It's not inspirational, but it sure is funny

"I married the first man I ever kissed. When I tell this to my children, they just about throw up."
- Barbara Bush

Even funnier then that, I was looking for a quote about children for ChrissyP. After typing in Quotes about children the second choice was Quotes on George W. Bush. Somebody please try this out with MSN and see if it comes up for them too.

Laconfir @ Mon Jan 12, 2004 7:11 pm
