One of my anti-weed friends pointed out how Winnipeg police had issued their first pot impaired driving ticket within one hour of legalisation.
My reply was "Their first ticket? What, the cops there had their thumbs up their asses for 50 odd years?"

Tricks Tricks:
The fear mongering around this is astounding.

When did polls become fear mongering. All they do is point out that there's a lot of people out there who think that legalization is a ticket to their own personal anarchy and after watching Jody Emery talk about keeping the 420 day smoke in going because they didn't get what they wanted from legalization I'd say that the polls weren't wrong.

It's funny how they are making a point out of reporting an impaired driver under the influence of weed. How many DUI's (from alcohol) happen that never make the news? Probably quite a few, every day, for many years now. I think it's safe to say that many people have driven while under the influence of weed, some caught some not, but because it's a hot topic right now we'll have to hear about them. I get that they are trying to make a point but realistically this is not a new phenomenon.

There's a cannabis culture and community!!!

Why wasn't I invited? [huh]

EDIT: Is there a tobacco culture and community too? What about alcohol? Crack/cocaine?

Us cig smokers usually hang out in dark alleys where our sin won't bother anyone.

Alcohol - I live it, I'm a buyer and a seller 8) Watcha looking for?

Crack/cocaine - absolutely no idea, seriously.

1. Wasn't responding to you.
2. Your video is from April. And it's also from the extreme. Stop using the extreme as an example of the norm.
3. I've literally listened to people say that now people arrested for hard drugs will somehow use this legislation as a charter challenge, which is quite honestly the most retarded fucking thing I've heard this week. Not the norm, but holy shit that's stupid.
4. The survey questions are awful and ADP should be ashamed of themselves. They have overlapping areas in two of the answers (during work, during or before work). That's just bad surveying.
5. The title of the article is wrong, only 17% believe during work.
6. It was also done a month ago before many of these companies may have communicated the expectations. My college didn't say anything until the day before.
7. Details matter, pay attention to them.

Legalizing marijuana is no different than having alcohol legal.

You are right, Strutz - it isn't a new phenomenon. I personally know a few people who have been smoking then driving for years. Not one of them has ever been pulled over for an traffic offense. That said, I don't do it simply because I could be pulled over for driving way under the speed limit. LOL.

Ontario cannabis grower recalling product after reports of mould

A cannabis manufacturer is recalling one of its products after receiving five complaints that it contains mould.

RedeCan said Thursday that it was recalling its B.E.C. strain of cannabis. All of the complaints involved 3.5-gram bottles of B.E.C. with lot code 4B2L3 sold through the Ontario Cannabis Store

One month after legalization... already a recall.
