How come when ever I petted my Cat, her bum kept sticking in the air even though she was fixed?

   

My cat is a male and he does that. I dont understand it either.

   

One more, Chloe and Pizza.

   

It doesn't matter. They have scent glands around their butts as well as on the sides of thier faces so they like to rub those areas against you.

   

Oh, I always thought it was an indication of...... well you know.

   

Max was cute he died in May 2000 age 12. This was from 1995......I remember because we had a record snow fall and that's what he's laying on. Both his parents were champions as are the parent of the two I have now. They're from the same kennel so are very similar to Max. I don't have a good picture of them yet but when I do I'll post it sometime.

The Naming of Cats is a difficult matter,
