Myself I have a couple of ferrets. Ferrets make wonderful, friendly, playful pets but they are trouble. They are extremely curious and get into everything. They are the thieves of the pet world as they like to "steal" small items that they can carry and hide them in various spots. For those of you that are not familiar with ferrets my avatar is a picture of one. Feel free to say what pets you own and discuss them if you want.

I have a skunk for a pet. Its de-glanded though. Real cute little critter.

Bigboy;

How do you feel about the latest round of pitbull bans. A rottweiler is the breed that follows after the pitbull in terms of public caution.

Tman1;

Ho do you look after a skunk? Do you walk him or use a litter box? Is he friendly & playful? Give details please as I'm intrigued.

I dont know, i havent seen alot of pitbulls that have been raised right. Just know one owner that does so i support that. Rottweiler ban would make me mad, i have had one try and bite my hand out of seeing alot thats good.. but i'm not scared of them so told it to lay down it growled but did. I HATE German shepherds! if any dog should be banned its them

Well, according to safety and regulations, since he is a...not a usual pet animal, I can't walk him in public but there is a field nearby so I just go around there. If I walked him out in public everybody would go screaming :D . Of course hes friendly and playful, he plays with these little ball thingys and jumps up and down like a freaked out cat sometimes, friggan hilarious. One time, these two German Shepards were nearby, I got a leash on him so he doesnt wander off, and the dogs actually seemed to recognize his species and they were yelping and running down the street. Ha ha

I've got a mixed-breed dog (border collie crossed with either a lab or a hound.... maybe both), fish (Jack Dempsey, Silver Dollar and a huge plecostamous), 2 hamsters and a love bird.

Next up is a cat.... we already have lots of prey for it. ;)

I used to have a dog that was a similar mix. Looked like a border collie though. Smart.

Now, just my kitten, Chloe.

I grew up with a border collie. They are considered the smartest breed for a reason! Very intuitive & intelligent. When I move to a bigger place I'll get one again.
