*sigh*

I only wish I was here earlier to verbally abuse him... and shoot him down for every word he said. Because time after time, women have proven to me, that they are a higher being. (note i only say this as there is a higher being in this house hold.... J/K)

anyways just for the extra effect.

(i have tons of these)

"Inferior women" have total lack of subtlety. XD

I did not feel it deserved the dignity of responding to such an inflamatory thread. Now that he is gone I do have something to say.

I was raised, along with my sister and two cousins, by my grandmother. She had already raised her own children on her own after her husband was killed in a construction accident.
We only had coal oil lamps, hauled water from the bay, cut our own fire wood. She used to do laundry by hand, bake, cook, clean, tend garden, preserve fruits and vegetables, salt fish. She was a small woman with large working hands. The love, patience, enduring strength and dignity of that woman awes me to this day. Life was so good I never realized we were poor. I never saw her angry.
To this day if I feel life is difficult I just have to think of her and I realize it isn't so bad.
I have yet to see a man exhibit such compassion and strength or come close to doing what she did in such an uncomplaining fashion. And I don't believe I will.

Uhh ok calm down. This thread obviously was aimed from one guy, do you feel the need to generalize every male on this site? In addition, men are also capable of doing housework as well as shopping so....

Sorry i didn't mean to put men all in the same catorgory.

going away to have a word with myself.

I didn't mean to effened you :(

How can one say men are better/stronger/etc than women.

Both genders have their strengths and weaknesses.

Men are hunters, women are gatherers (metaphors).

To make comparisons between the sexes is like trying to teach a bicycle to walk.

Frank (who admires his wife's strengths) W.
