These people chose their path and they will be judged accordingly for their actions and perhaps their sexual orientation but that has nothing to do with, why Islam does not tolerate homosexuality. All religions have different guidelines and thats why people refer to Canadians are known for their tolerance. If it was anyone else, I would put up a definition but you seem like a intelligent person so I wont. Anyways, back to the top of homosexuality. The vatican only represents the catholic church not all christianity.

   

Rum n Catholics believe in the theory of evolution openly acknowledge that Genesis isn't literal. Many priests and nuns also believe that the clergy should have the right to marry restored, and that homosexuals should be allowed to be ordained. It's just the upper echelons of the Church that are reactionary. Get to know some Catholics and you'll find that they are fairly liberal.
