Slap their peepees. That's just beyond the pale. Was it directed at you, like Curt's was? (And in defense of Curt, some of the accusations hurled at him had as much logic as calling you a pedo. Just that pedo is in a class by itself - don't push that button.)

With respect to the accusations at Curt, suggesting anyone supports criminal activities because they buy products from criminals is not too far off. Curt may not buy them now, or so he claims, but I'd be beyond amazed if he hasn't in the recent past.

Put like that, sure. I seem to recall it getting a lot uglier than that, but I wasn't paying all that much attention. Just sort of peeking thru my fingers in horror when he hauled out the pedo thing. But did he actually call you a pedo, or say you support them for some reason or another that actually had some sort of demented logic to it?

It's pretty clear that the "I Nominate For a Medal" bit is generally unhealthy, causes strife, hurts people's feelings and it gives bullies of all stripes an excuse to flame others for whatever.

Like I said in Curt's thread; if you don't want a label, don't behave in a fashion that will get you labelled. If people are getting hurt feelings over these nominations, maybe they need a period of self reflection. Figure out if you are proud of yourself and who you are. If other people's reflection of you hurts your feelings, maybe you should consider changing who you are.

My feelings aren't hurt by anything that I have read on here today. I am genuinely saddened by it, though. None of this is healthy in any way for any of the participants. This is not the way that adults should conduct themselves. It really should stop now. Find a more positive way to talk about your fellow posters. If you treat people this way out n the real world, you are breaking real laws in the process.

Jabberwalker. Frankly, when someone says they are an active drug user, they should expect to be labeled as such. That said, the way this is all playing out is very childish indeed.. But it the childish posts were taken away, 90% of what is posted on this forum would be erased.
