Unions will kill Ontario like they did BC

I see it every day when I go to work. I can't tell you the amount of times I've been told to slow down at work by a fellow employee. The interesting thing is, right in our contract it states that any employee who opts out of the union or refuses to pay union dues must be terminated within five days. Rediculous.
I would hope a Union would not look out for the interest of the company before its members but in reality no company no work.
If you have not noticed the Unions are spending a lot of effort training their members to be better at what they do to make companies more competitive
I stated earlier that I get what I can get, well I work in a very anti-union area and the funny thing is I get $45,000.00 more then my non-union conterpart and most my work comes from the non-union sector. When they can't fix it they call me.
I will only be out of a job if the non-union guy gets the training that I get and the way the things are going now that just won't be happening soon.
Once again thank you UNIONS

Training, shite monkeys can put a wheel on a car.
Unions cater to the lowest common denominator.
I have had a lifetime of experience with unions...non of it good.
When the union lackeys broke it, they called me to fix it.

When you get older you will see that they are protecting THEIR interests, not yours.I was in the union long enough to know what go's on behind the scenes,(22 years)no work for you and no fat pension for them with out ever haveing to work.
Marine pipeline and the OE's priced themselves right out of the pipeline bussiness,Now folks who want to work are doing the job. Thanks unions!
I work non union now and make about $50,000 more, thanks unions! Thanks for pricing yourselves out of the market!
Make sure the next raise you get for the brothers and sisters contains a clause for contributing to the union pension. I'll allmost bet money yours allready does.
This is the problem, you have your head in your ass. There is more to Unions then assembling cars.
Another thing you are not aware of is that when the PC cut funding to training in the trades if it were not for the Union picking up the training there would be no training.
This year more people are taking notice of this, look at Dafasco in Hamilton. They justisgned a deal that will require you to be union to sell your services to them. This is because of the Union Training.

thats interesting, we have priced our selves out of the market but yet you make more?????
Last I looked everything is compared to Union rate, and I do know not to many people in thenon-union sector make more then in the Union sector if you look at total package.

No it's not compared to union rate, more like the "going rate"There is a difference. Hows it feel to go to work knowing a portion of your wages are going to pay your union poo bahs to sit around drinking coffee and trying to find ways to work some more money into their pension while still makeing it look like you plebes are getting a good deal on your next contract and the union is fighting tooth and nail with management to get you this?
Your BA and his friends are laughing all the way to the bank and why not? Gravey train untill early retirement thanks to the brothers and sisters.

Maybe if you never belonged to a union you could have retired at 40
If it wasnt for the unionist movement in Canada.. you would be working 60 hr work weeks for peanuts..there wouldnt be employment standards and guidelines.. the rich would be happy as pigs in shit and the Tories would be running the country for ever... the unions did not help the liberals in ontario.. some supported them on certain issues but I doubt there was any union money going to the liberals...
look how the banks are fucking their employees.. ( which are mostly women) no pun intended here.. they dont pay for overtime.. pay them shit wages. want them to be sales people and watch over them like they were war lords.. threaten them when they dont meet the numbers and now in Ontario one bank has told their employees they wont be getting the new holiday in February.. if there werent labour laws and employment standards those poor bastards working in the banks would be working 14 hr days and 7 days a week.. say what you like about unions but I for one am greatful for them and the work they do...

Make like an Albertan,...if you have a shitty job tell your employer to fuck themselves.
Go down the street and get a better one (NON_UNION)
The company my wife works laughs at the union shops they own. The unions got 4% last year all the non-union ones got 5 to 10%. Stupid blind fuckers

They thought they did good.
If you're a pain in the ass(union) in Alberta you will get paid less..we don't have the time or their patience for their bullshit.
Bankers get what they deserve. I had a professor in school that said "if you can't make it in the business world become a banker"
