Maybe it's just me but without this site I could go bonkers. Hereabouts, you can't discuss politics. You are either dealing with a bitter partisan or just as bitter an apathy....no apparent middle ground.
An unrepentant LIBRANO just down the road agrees.....in fact we went to the polls together. He can't figure out why I never have a lawn sign but then shrugged when I pointed out the dearth of such in these parts.

I selected not to vote in the election because in our riding it was pretty much a done deal even before election day. Meaning the candidate already had a huge margin in advance.

Plus, it's all the same anyways, Conservatives, NPD, Liberals.

They should have a party like these, then the turn out would be much greater :lol:

agree in alot of ridings many voters seem to have though incumbents were geting back in and didn't bother to vote as many incumbents got re-elected and only 3 pc mpp's lost , 2 liberal mpp's and 1 ndp mpp lost there seats , most new mpp's were elcected in vacant ridings .

think this might be one of the problems with fixed election dates is that mpp's have more time to prepare and organize campaigns and can spend taxpayers money to promote themselves before election.

Actually I'll use "Karma bomb" as long as you keep retreating to emoticons, suck. Again, anything on Ontario Politics or are simply here to be a sanctimonious hypocrite? I'm betting on the former, but maybe your pedestrian intellect has something to offer. Didn't think so. This is when you have a meltdown and go cry to the mods for a thread lock.

Anyho, for those keeping up with the RELEVANT aspects of the thread, recent editorials have suggested that many stayed home due in large part to both apathy and the age old voter mentality that they didn't see it fit to "vote out" the incumbent government.

Any thoughts from your political science classes, RUEZ?

Actually RUEZ, an example of Karma Bombing is when I leap into the middle of a thread, say nothing on topic but belittle you for wimping out on a challenge to debate Mustang1 on Ontario politics.
