[QUOTE BY= paulMartin] It's always the same story. Quebecois trying to explain to Canadians what it is to be a people without a country. Are they stupid or what? Sébastien and paulMartin, you're both right.

I never thought Canadians would come to accept Québec sovereignty, though they will have to eventually, but I had at least hoped that some would have the ability to understand. I was watching global news and it showed that 54% of Quebecers are for sovereignty. Then it should that more then half of these people want to remain in Canada. My mom who isn't the most knowledgable on politics sounded just like how I've been like on this website for months. She was like Quebecers want to have it both ways why don't they pick one or the other NOT BOTH!!

We both agreed that Quebecers take the rest of us in this country for granted. You want sovereignty but you would prefer to keep on receiving money from Alberta's oil and Ontario's economy!! It will never happen!!

France is the fourth economical power in the World after USA, Japan, Germany...

But believe me if we see a sister in trouble surely we will help her. And of course Quebec will have the help of France. France will be happy that her child is finally free.
I'm all for separation, in fact if Quebec can 'legally' separate or claim sovereignty that grants far more legitimate claims to native self government. The mohawks and others have far more legitimate claims to self government and land claims than Quebecois, which means those 'international courts' would have to get involved to start 'carving up' the province. If that happens, then with legitimate self governments in place in Quebec, Canada wouldn't be able to deny it to native groups in other provinces.
