Legal marriage for homosexuals?????

Im not gay, and personaly i wouldnt have sex with a guy. But its somone wants to do that its there buisness. They can do what they want. It doesnt hurt anyone, you dont have to watch. So why do yoy care? why do people have to judge other people. freedom isnt freedom without equality

Whatever. Its still gross. Seeing two males making out is like seeing one of those pictures a doctor shows where everything in the picture is not right like if it was 12:00 am but its sunny out.

You know what's really really gross? When in this day and age people feel the need to decide how or with who somebody else has sex. Or watching hetrosexual kissing and making out in public where my young daughter can see them. ewww!

personaly I dont go that way either but live and let live. love is supposed to make the world go round not hate. I think we all need to practise a bit of tolerance in that area. And other areas as well.

I think now is a good time for some active moderation.

Comments such as those expressed by Futballer have no place in a rationale dialogue of an important issue to many Canadians. We have already given too much credence to his comments by responding to them. They are ignorant and immature and don't deserve a response.

lol. Two males making out is gross but two women is hot?? that is a fine example of the double standard of society. Lesbians are excepted because some men find it sexy and fantasize about having two women at the same time. Well some people might like to see two guys going at it. Its like anything else. some people are into things other people wouldnt try. If you dont like it then you dont do it. I think that everyone needs to grow up a bit and realize guys have been having sex for Years and years. Now they are making it public and people cant pretend its not there. Sorry people but there isnt anything you can do now. Its out there. So live and let live. If your not gay you dont have anything to worry about.

It is the unravelling of society and it's foundations as we know it. Why should people of a homosexual bent be allowed to hijack the institution of marriage?

There are far deeper issues at steak here not to be confused with tube steak roasted on a stake and I would steak my stake on the steak.

Only in western society is homosexuality such a concern. Homosexuality and transexuality have been accepted in non western cultures for centuries. The Fijians and Maori have a special place in society for those people.

In ealy Greek society it was a ritual rite for men (at coming of age) to sleep with boys.

There are South American cultures who understood that some people were different. Different did not mean wrong.

But you take Western Society and it's dependance on everybody doing the same and suddenly some are worried that others are doing wrong.

Even animals who mate for life have "homosexual" members. I am not refering to animals who mount for dominance, but animals who seek life partners.

So what you are saying Karra is that you blame the unraveling of western society and culture on the gay community. Well as Twila just said the gays have been around since the dawn of time. There is nothing you or anyone can do about it other than accept the fact they are and will be around long after you and I and every one CKA are dead and gone.
They are human beings just like the rest of us and they deserve to live as members of society. I am very secure with my hetro-sexuality. It just seems to be that you, and people like you may have an issue with yours.
Twils I did not know that animals were like that. Fascinating. I also watched a show on tlc a few winters back about the Fijians. I think it was called tranny Island. It is almost like a status symbol if you have a member of your house as a tranny.

I think that it shows that society is still in its infant stage that we cannot in effect accept someone who is human but different from the "norm" and I use that term loosely. Someone who is into wierd sex like whipping and all has a fetish. a hetero couple who like to engage in anal sex is perfectly normal. But two men?? well that is horribly wrong?? How is that? Is it because a book that is over 2000 years old says its wrong? Fine. It maybe. But who are we to judge? Doesnt it say something about that in the bible?? Hijacking marriage? no I dont think so. Why should they not have rights like everyone else??
Years ago we where having this same talk about Black people. why should gays be any different? Do you have to keep them down to feel good about yourselves? Guess what the world isnt perfect and some people are differnet. Guess what!! you cant control it and there are people who are going to be happy no matter what you do. Get over it!!!

An informed research into the Bible, taking into consideration the original text and the various translations, suggests that the Bible is not so cut-and-dried on homosexuality.

I'm still trying to figure out how my marriage is in anyway denegrated or damaged by gay or lesbians being married. Heterosexuals have done such a great job of destroying the institution of marriage these days, that homosexuals can do nothing but improve the institution in my mind. They certainly can't do any worse.

I would like someone to articulate clearly how gay marriage in any way "damages" the society we live in. And please, base your response on facts.
