And uhh, LMAO, why the fuck does everybody spell my name with an "E" on the end? I never took the name off a bottle of vodka. It actually meant something six-months-ago when I signed up! Time for a correction, I'm tired of explaining,...its a conspiracy I tell ya, a conspiracy..."SS" will do for all you regulars, but I'm gonna clear a new name with the folks that run this...
wow SS, you must have a lot of free time, not even gonna try and keep up. I grew up in Sask, lived in AB, spent time in BC and I now live in KENTUCKY. Don't make the assumption that I'm an ignorant prarie boy who had his opinions handed to him by the media, government, whatever. I am not anti-American I AM anti-united north america. Taking pot shots at looters with guns sounds very american to me. I'm a young single guy, I get into trouble. It happens. If I'm in Alberta or Sask, I hear "mind your business or me and my buddies'll throw you a beating." (I'm 6'4", always hear me AND my buddies) Down here it's "Mind your business, I'll get my gun." THAT is from personall experience. You say Canada and the US are the same because we help our neighbors and love our kids. NO SHIT. Almost any country on earth has that. Hardly a qualifier. A united north america may make it easier for YOU to travel back and forth but I'm hoping the majority of Canadians feel the way I do. I hope it never happens.
Hey dude, it wasn't meant as a "qualifier", it was meant to make people think of Americans as something other than the gun-toting maniacs that the CBC seems to portray them as. I've never set foot in KY, but I have set foot in many states where gun laws are stricter than Canada's, NY is a fine example. As far as looters go, what deters a piece-of-shit like that, a sign saying "please don't steal my stuff, I worked all my life for it and insurance will only cover 30%"? Even when they are caught, a couple of week-ends in the bucket just allows them to get a couple of meals & some sleep. I never used a gun to settle a beef, like you I seem to prefer the up-close-and-personal approach. I was hitch-hicking in northern Ontario some 20 years ago, and a biker-type in a pick-up gives me a ride. As we rumble along, he pulls out what he called his "hippie-hunter", a .45 calbre semi-auto. We even pulled over and took some pot-shots in a field near North Bay. Point is, not every guy with a beard in Ontario has a "hippie-hunter", and not every American has a .357 in the glove compartment. As far as free time, man, this is the first week-end in two months I been off, I work 60-hour weeks to pay the tax-man, who gives it to a govt. who thinks we are too stupid to notice the waste when they call it "social programs"! Crossing the border? Easier for me than crossing the bridge from Ottawa to Hull, so THAT dog don't hunt! When the day comes, I'd MUCH rather see this country become part of the U.S. than the E.U! All due respect to those that love this country. Of which I am one.
Kentucky over Louisville today.
Hate to pop your bubble Buford, but an unwritten law in Canada says you can be comfortably British or French, but damn, if your pro-American, you got an arguement on your hands. Trust me dude, I AM pro-American, but it didn't come from "FOX T.V." or "ABC", or the pentagon, white house or Hollywood! And I'll work 'till I die to make my Country a better place, just like you'de probably like to! And uh, buddy, I like sarcasm almost as much as irony, but go easy, I get ya, ya don't have to be a nonrev, ya know. Ya got a lot of friends here, for good reason, you seem like a good contributor, but nobody likes a smartass. Back to Bookie...
...and as far as "robair" is concerned, I'm guessing here buddy, so correct me: Seems you probably know a hell of a lot more about what goes on in Kentucky than what goes on east of Saskatoon! So correct me, what IS going on east of Saskatoon? Go ahead, tell me...
Absolut, just to let you know, there are eight of us on our block that are trying to give our block, in principle, to the United States of America. There is more anti-canada canadians in Alberta than robair would like to admit.
God Bless America (and our block)
...LOL, Biker huh? Cute. Threads evolve, starts with one, finishes different, everytime. Wanna stay on a subject fluffy?
Fluffy? Where the f**k did that come from ? Yea sure any topic just pic one, what did you mean with that whole east of 'Stoon Shpeal anyway? You lost me, it takes a good man to loose me, just doesn't take him very long.
Oh and Becky, my my, we must have posted at the same time, I completly missed the whole anti-Canada thing! I lived in Edmonton for awhile, what's your complaint with that town and how is moving to the US of A gonna solve it? Go ahead, tell me. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for you, I won't be judgemental. Maybe things will pick up for you down here who knows? My sex life has improved since moving, these girls dig the whole Canadian Lumberjack thing. I've never chopped down a tree but they make the assumption and I won't tell them any different...
"ROBAIR THE TYPICAL"...play on the fact that many generations before you stood up & were counted, & now sad hippies like you, who never put in a cent, a concern, or a tour! can talk all they want about how bad it is wherever you are. Get laid because your "Canadian"? Chop down trees, eat maple syrup, play hockey, just for a piece-of-ass? I post on here, I've taken a lot of shit, ask anybody, but I hate shit like you that pretends to do the whole "Canadian thing", meanwhile you do NOTHING! You just talk! "Biker" he says? Fuck you punk. I drive a pontiac & an F-150. Haven't touched a bike in years! I don't have a "looting" or robbery problem in my house, though,...
Easy to talk tough on the 'net isn't it? Didn't i just read something about you putting down chest thumpers? Maybe that was another thread...
Hippie, eh?
Making a lot of assumptions aren't we?
