i am not generallya complainer but i would have said something to the manager. The Mandarin is a loud place even at the best of times but there is no reason for this rude behaviour.

Besides the diarrhea factor, that's one of the other reasons I don't visit Mandarin anymore.
They're interested in getting you in and seated. Your experience, good or bad, really doesn't matter.

Maybe tell them that you were interested in a sponsorship,but after the inability of your staff to handle an obnoxious table.. sorry,but I feel that it would be an inapproprate place to invest funds.
Or tell them your doing an article for a travel newsletter..and that you could not recommend this establishment to your readers.
Had bad service at a place where they actually catered to a biker group.
Nothing wrong with them catering to the group as it was good buisness for them;just that they ignored the other customers.
So fed up that I told the waitress that I was going to complain to some of my buddies in the group about the lousy service I got..maybe they will look for another place...
Lucky for me they didn't call my bluff..and I did get a free meal out of it

and in walk these three arab girls (20 - 22 years old) who are seated RIGHT beside us, all three of them are talking very loud on cell phones.. standing up, walking around the table on the phone and repeating the conversation to one another in a very loud, disruptive manner which is obviously annoying to just about every patron in ear shot.
Having there phones set on the loudest setting and allowing them to ring 6 - 8 times before picking up, as if talking on your phone while people are trying to eat is not bad enough... they had to use... speaker phone.. the best part was when they would leave there phones on the table as they went to get more food and the phones would ring non stop unattended.
Follow this up with the fact that the people they were on the phone with now show up at there table.... not to sit and eat.. not to sit and talk quietly... they stood up around the table and talked and showed the various shit they got from the mall or whatever hole they crawled out of.
I was on the last straw to say the least... it took alot to hold back from flipping there table over and kicking there ass out the door, this was also the same thing I could also see on the minds of the people around us.
Seriously what is going through the minds of people who act like this...

OMG, I know exactly how you feel.....
At my school, there is this group of really loud Muslim girls, about 3-7 of them, and they screech really loudly and won't shut up and are really annoying and loud, nad if we ever tell them to shut up they tell us to fuck off.....What I wouldn't give to have one of the taliban to show up and smack these women.....They could really use a good smack......

OMG, I know exactly how you feel.....

Unless their nationality has some impact on their annoyance level.....I could see that if they were speaking in some crazy foreign language it could make it a lot worse....

South Asian (pc term ofr arab, Indian, whatever) girls are worse, far worse. I made the idiotic decision to move in with two of them. The noise they made made me want to stab my ears with rusty nails repeately. One of the things that drove me nuts is that they would always talk over eachother thus getting progressively louder until they were almost yelling. It was so annoying I cannot even describe it. I baracaded myself in my room with ear plugs, music and chocolate for 3 months straight.
