Did you quit high school?
Quitting school doesn't say much to your employer about your dedication and ambition. You might not learn any hard, technical skills, but a high school degree should be absolutely required, in my mind.

There has been no health code violations as I can see.Everything is either on carts or shelves.The chicken tubs do not even touch the floor cuz they stay on carts in case of situations like this.We also used lots of bleach to clean the whole place to kill any bacteria.If anything was even close to being exposed to the sewage, we chucked it in the garbage.The tubs are also water proof and sealed at all times.Everything is kept sealed tight.If there is even a doubt that that was done, out to the garbage it goes.We also wore gloves while mopping up and washed our hands with disinfecting soap all the time.

From having worked in a fast food restaurant, if the boss says "clean it up!" you clean it up.

All it takes is one drop of contaminated water hitting food or a prep area and you've got a potential e.coli outbreak. This matter sould be reported, to the city/town health inspectors.

Yup! Your completely right. She should 'drop out'. She is probably only making miniumum wage for all the hard work and long hours.And then with no further education ( you can't go to university or college without a high school diploma) she will be FULLY QUALIFIED' for most of the miniumum wage jobs out there! What a great future to look forward to! The job she has now is part of 'real life skills'. EVERY job has it's lousy aspects.Get used to it! The higher your education , the wider your range of choices!

No matter what anyone says, stay in school and get some credential, be it professional or trade. It will pay off big time!
There are many times when I think of how much more money I'd have if only I'd become a plumber/welder/pipefitter...still, then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to travel the world and have a shitload of fun!
Either way, you'll be better for it. As for KFC, I remember working in those dead-end shite jobs 20 years ago and I totally understand your gripes.

Imagination & ambition come from with-in. With out a either you won't last in any job and you certainly won't advance should you somehow manage to 'hang onto' any job. Learning is YOUR responsibility.A high school diploma shows a prospective employer determination and dedication to self.
