I thought it was ok, the segment about Giordano Bruno went a little long. It has really high reviews on IMDB 97%.

Same. A good start, introducing people to the vastness of the Universe.

I'm glad he mentioned meeting Carl Sagan too! Cool that he had the original day planner whith Sagan's appointment to meet DeGrasse Tyson!

I just hope Fox doesn't f-k it up like they tend to do with shows I like.

Sadly I don't see this getting more than one season on Fox though.

I don't think it's supposed to be more than one season. The original series with Carl Sagan was thirteen episodes and the new series is as well.

I watched the first episode too. Pretty wild to see the timeline on a scale that one can relate to. Looking forward to future episodes.

Glad to see that Global TV is showing it as this is the only channel I get. :D

The second one was good too. I like the dog part though I kind of wish he had talked about cats. :D

I thought it was interesting that eyesight has never been as good as it was just before life left the ocean.

As soon as they discovered they got to chase mice, got belly rubs and head bumps, plus a warm lap to purr on, cats tamed themselves.

he was discussing domestication of the lovable dog not enslavement by evil felines..... interesting how he described evolution as ....spiritual

It was on Global in our area ... so well done. He has hosted Nova on PBS for years, as well.

I liked the second episode much better than the first, it seemed much more focused and instead is distracting I found the special effects really enhanced the episode.

I like the little 'water bear'. I knew there was a creature that could survive all sorts of extremes, I just didn't know it's name.

Can anyone name who's voice was that of William Herschel in this week's episode?

;)
