Reminded me of comments from old people i heard in High School in the late 1960s.
It's either the Economy OR the Environment!
Conservatives still can't believe anyone can do two things at once.

   

TL;DR - there are not enough resources that could have fought the LA Wildfires in January.

The way to fight the fires was to change climate policy and do something about it, 30 years ago. That was the time to fight that fire.

   

The US added double the amount of renewable energy last year compared to the year before. And it cost less per MW/h than the year before.

Doing better for the environment is getting cheaper with scale. I don't understand why they want to burn fuel that is gone once you use it, rather than use the sun which is free and will rise again tomorrow for not cost.

   

We both know that, but will never convince 'the right' of that fact. Wind turbines cost far more than a nuclear power plant in their talking points.
