I thought this was really cool.
Very very cool.
Seeing our world from the heavens would have a truly profound impact on how we see ourselves and our world. From there, everywhere is home, not just the little patches of land(nations, provinces, cities, towns and villages) we exist in. It would give a sense of onesness rather than the exclusionary view we usually have.
