Couldn’t agree with you more Mario.
However most if not all of the track athletes are professional.
Most if not all the team sports are pro.Baseball, soccer, volleyball, Basketball and the cyclist. If you removed all the Professionals and you would have a very small bunch of athletes playing handball.
Very sad really

I thought the track athletes were still amateurs... They get their good money thru sponsors. Thats why Ben Johnson over did it on the steroids. He had a lot of money pending on that gold medal. Not like Shaq or Lemieux, already making millions thru their team, sponsors just make them bigger millionaires.
No system is perfect, BUT, my main beef is the fact that we have an Olympic Hockey team -> not making to the Olympic...

There is an olympics ? crap is it over yet ? Untill they have beer drinking as a sport, I am going to pack up my beers and go home!
