Ann Coulter: Canada is "lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent"

Tucker Carlson: "Without the U.S., Canada is essentially Honduras, but colder and much less interesting"

Ann COULTER: "There is also something called, when you're allowed to exist on the same continent of the United States of America, protecting you with a nuclear shield around you, you're polite and you support us when we've been attacked on our own soil. They [Canada] violated that protocol."

Ann Coulter, "They don't even need to have an army, because they are protected, because they're on the same continent with the United States of America. If we were not the United States of America, Canada -- I mean, we're their trading partner. We keep their economy afloat."

I know they sound ridiculous but doesn't anyone find these people at all threatening to Canada?

What if this pattern continues and the country really does begin to debate (internally) the advantages of annexing Canada?

It's a debate that has been going on since the US war of independence one way or another. They've never been under the kind of pressure they are right now though, and that pressure is going to increase over the next few years.

Canada needs to take strong stands now. We need to build strong bonds with non-US interests. We need to step away from the US. That will send a message that their overtures are not welcome and afford us protection from the rest of the world.

Don't worry remotely about Anne Coulter- even republicans know she's batty. She's payed to spew insanity; seemingly to allow the hawks to dream.

Tucker Carlson's more of a problem- some people pay attention to him. He seems less offensive on the surface, and his arguments sound somewhat more reasonable to the Neocons. He's still pretty much a ditto-head, though, so he's not that big of a threat until he starts to form original opinions.

Even if the right is turning on Canada, the left is not! Even the republicans know it would spark a civil war in the US should they threaten Canada's sovereignty. I think I can safely say it's all talk.

I will add, however, that I agree with Rev- "Don't worry" doesn't mean "Don't take precautions". Anything that makes Canada stronger, while preserving its identity is a good thing.

I think the world needs to cut the US off. The modern world could handle the shift, if it was done right.

Ann Coulter is a psycho not rooted in reality. In other words a real Ugly American.

If anything the way their economy is decline it won't be long before we have to annex them. The last time they tried to take over Canada we beat them back.

Well, the way the US is outsourcing most of their jobs to overseas, at an ever increasing rate, we may just have to start selling to India and China instead anyways because there will be no one to sell our raw materials to in the US soon. Many right wing Americans would sell their mother if it could get a good price. The US is becoming a consumer society which produces nothing of its own. This includes the sciences as well since fewer and fewer American students are going into the sciences and maths and are going more into careers which they feel will get them the most money. More and more foreign students are taking the science and math degrees in American universities but they are not allowed to stay after they finish in many cases.

Here we go...

We stop the bashing on this side of the border, a stinking Coulter pop up on the other side...

I think Coulter should stick his culture where the sun doesn't shine right between his self thinking sexy legs that look like a Beatle’s legs even with the pants he's wearing on them...

These types of people are not conservatives or liberals, those types of people are western BIN LADENS...

I don't think they know that either...

What an Ironic Jock that was...

What is that suppose to mean? I thought that one of the things you were against Muslims was how they treated women? Isn't that sort of comment hypocritical of you?

You'll know when Canada has been annexed by the US when you see scruffy-looking, obese people who can't dress and can't speak English properly, who own 20 handguns, 100 hand grenades, 4 sawn-off shotguns and an anti-tank missile launcher to defend their home from thieves (and say it is their "Constitutional right" to own these weapons, despite the fact that the 2nd Amendment is 200 years out-of-date), think that France borders Russia, India borders Australia, Japan is near Denmark and Mongolia borders Narnia, and who like watching people play baseball in the "World Series" despite the fact that only American and Canadians teams compete in it.
