FACT: Canadaka.net's T-Shirt merchandise: MADE IN AMERICA
You can go to my blog, where I laugh till I crap blood over this...or you can simply sit back and go:
$1:
"So whatever I buy from this website...Americans are pocketing chunks of MY CANADIAN money?"
I'd like to see the admin/owner refute this. Besides his/her mea culpa (It's in the cafepress store), the fact remains: You're using an AMERICAN COMPANY (Cafepress.com is located in California), to basically sell Anti-US themed merchandise.
That's the
HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY.
Got it?
And to the reader (not admin/owner) either you live with this...or you begin to question the 'motives' behind this website. And don't be surprised if I suddenly 'dissapear' from this website in a day or two. As a Canadian myself, I think I am "kicking" just a bit too much ass.
Eh?
It's up to you.

This true?
why is it anti america themed merchandise?
and does the tag inside of the shirt say made in the usa?
or are you going from something we all can't see on our monitors?
and question what motives???
take a chill pill dude!

I can only interpret this banner
As something that isn't exactly 'American friendly'
And yes, Anything that's made in America will have a 'MADE IN AMERICA' tag inside the shirt. Unless of course CKA rips it off (but I think that would violate some trade laws).
Either way, if you are proud to be Canadian, just BE PROUD. You don't have to go knocking Americans to prove your point.
Addendum: I don't know how long me being here will last. I have a feeling that the moderators will 'make me dissapear' soon because I am hitting them rather hard.
But one more thing: Their new shirts? The ones that CKA are bragging is:
"The CKA Shirts are 100% Canadian made, printed and shipped with Canada Post, making them 100% Canadian."
*ahem*
Does MEXICO and HONDURAS ring a bell?
Check out my blog, all the facts will be up for you to see.

rabblewatch you are one pathetic sorry excuse, you need to take the stick outa your ass and get laid once in awhile. mellow out and maybe someone may like you. You are nothing but a supreme troll.
Besides the insults, you've got anything to say about what I'm posting? No?
How about this, go read my blog, I've got it all laid out in spades.
The facts are: CKA is bragging that they are also selling:
$1:
The CKA Shirts are 100% Canadian made, printed and shipped with Canada Post, making them 100% Canadian.
- CKA online store.
So what is
"%100 Canadian Made"?
Please define that.
Like how about a Quebec Textile Company called GILDAN which 'offshores' to sewing shops in Honduras, Mexico, Haiti? And yeah, a lot of 'progressive' bloggers wrote some fairly angry things (read: SWEATSHOPS) over Gildan.
But that's not my point. I don't care about "sweatshops" seriously.
What I do care about is misleading people via false advertising. CKA brags
about being so "%100 Canadian", and
But the truth is: Either CKA are selling stuff that is MADE IN AMERICA (Cafepress.com), or the stuff CKA *says* is "%100 Canadian" is actually made overseas (Honduras, Mexico, Haiti, etc)..
Get it?
Read my blog and learn for once.
If you got nothing better than insults, then you've lost the debate, and
you're not fit to 'wear' that CKA ELITE status.
Either we have a rational debate over this...or I turn up the heat. Where I
basically will make the whole CKA/Sweatshop/MADE IN USA my life's ambition.
You can laugh now, or take me seriously and we can talk it over like MEN.
My god this is absolutely hilarious! The left beaten by their own retarded rules!
Also, wtf is with this "no deep integration with the USA" bs? WE DEPEND ON THE USA FOR OUR EVERY NEED. And it's a good thing too.
I visited the site and saw a disclaimer in regards to the cafepress goods. Here it is:

The products in this category of the site are not made by Canadaka.net. They are made by the online merchandise website www.cafepress.com. I create a store there and make my own logos to upload and they sell the clothing and I make a portion of the profit.
The quality of the cafepress is good, but the official Canadaka.net clothing is better and is totally 100% made in Canada, cafepress is not.
I would like to make all my own products but the cost for me to make a product is very high since I have to get a large quantity to make it profitable. So I choose to offer some more selection of products this way for now. But look forward to more official CKA Clothing to come!
I don't know whether this was done before or after your initial post but it seems to me he isn't purporting his tees to be something they're not.
This entire thread looks like a shameless plug for your blog. Why not just put up the link and call it a day.
Hello "first time poster" Sarafina
Glad you're so adept to this website from the get-go.
As for Cafepress.com, I did write about CKA's mea culpa. I just find it very ironic and deeply hypocritical.
And what about the other clothes? The %100 CANADIAN clothing?
Please define to me what %100 CANADIAN means?
If that means having the clothes actually made in MEXICO, HONDURAS and HAITI, then I would be scared to see what %70 CANADIAN means, or %40 percent.
So until these questions can be addressed, I don't think I'll "just put up the link and call it a day." No, probably what's going to happen is the moderator/admin is going to make me mysteriously 'dissapear', like all the rest of the agitators here who 'kicked ass'.
Still though, I've got my blog, and a growing number of readers (you can laugh, but it's true, I am getting circulation...slowly but surely).
All the best and *welcome* to CKA. Glad this is your "first time" you are here.
P.S.
For those who flame me, but never ask me "Why" I'm doing this, my answer is
as follows: I have nothing against being patriotic, I love Canada deeply. However I'm not going to stand aside and watch Canadian patriotism whored/exploited and used as some tool of anti-Americanism with that ridiculous
You want to bash America? Fine. Then you must be willing and ready to debate
your position and that you PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH?
And yeah, if you're going to be 'Canadian for Canadians' then for crissakes:
START SELLING CANADIAN MADE CLOTHING,
NOT THIS HONDURAN/AMERICAN STUFF.
Betcha can't do it though. Why? Simple: Cost.
Welcome to Capitalism 101, every other *evil* corporation worth their salt does it,
and now you'll LEARN why too: LIVE WITH IT.

Why aren't people outraged that CKA merchandise is made in sweatshops in third world countries? I thought you guys were supposed to be against that...

I am a little concerned; maybe Trev will be able to clarify this. I know that Gildan has factories in Canada.
Even if Gildan has factories in Canada, the mere fact that they operate sweatshops in third world countries should set you off shouldn't it? I mean, why would you support a company that does that?
Personally, I would prefer it if all my clothes were made in Canada. In recent decades the Canadian clothing and textile industries have taken a huge hit, however.

Suddenly interested in my posts now?
You want the facts? Just go to my blog, I've got it all there, you want more dirt on
www.gildan.com? You know where to find it.
The irony is...how long have you (anyone reading this) been posting at this canadaka.net site? How long have you been basically PROMOTING a website that basically used America/Foreign sweatshop labour to make their "%100 Canadian" merchandise?
I wonder how long most of the posters here have been posting away...without even QUESTIONING what the fuck they were 'championing' in the first place?
Betcha some of you are starting to feel used huh?

Are you in a 'religious state'?
