Yeah a Canadian web site where I would say 60 to 70 % of all of its topics are USA related.
Except that when the topics concern US foreign policy of any number of wars they start then it's no longer US centered but action centered.
Granted this topic is US specific but its also of interest to people opposed to homophobes.
I'm more then willing to bet loads of US forums debate Canada whenever we do something with gun control, certainly healthcare, abortion.

should have used that money to throw a big bash of a prom for ALL of the kids to enjoy. Then Constance would be popular and the other kids would dump the school's policies in a second. Don't just reward 1 kid for pushing controversy onto the others. If you want to help her be accepted then recognize that the other kids wanted a party too. It only bothers them more when you give her a ton of money during a recession. Most those kids will struggle financially to go to college, or not go at all.
Wow, what a leap of logic. The girl ruined the other kid's prom by insisting to attend. So the other kid's parents organized their own prom that she was excluded from. But, Ellen should throw all those bigots a prom to show how nice she is? You mean the kids would attend Ellen's prom, even tho Constance would be there, because it's a big media bash, but they won't attend their own highschool prom because that damn lesbian would be there. Are you from the same town? The I can't reason worth a shit town? The other kids did get a party - the one their bigoted parents organized. Sucks to be a bigot I guess.

From what I read, most of the kids didn't have a problem with it... although there probably were a few who would object. So the parents had their own little party and invited themselves.. how Christian of them!

What if it was reversed? And students at the high school are members of the KKK wanted to go to prom with their good ole boys, and a large portion of the student body was black and they banned them from going? I am sure there would be no outrage on here. They would even say it was right to keep them out. Just look at how people felt on here about Terrblanche being hacked to death.

True.
I see both sides to this.
It would make certain students uncomfortable so they didn't allow her in. Understandable.
However, that's who she is and cannot do anything about it, and it was wrong of them to kick her out. It's right and wrong in my opinion.
Also, this is one fucking state guys. This shit wouldn't happen where I live. Not all of the US is as backwards as you all like to think we are.
