I'm a Roman Catholic and I know I would not go off on some violent coniption if some fanatical Muslim tore the Bible apart, page by page, and flushed it down the one running toilet in all of Mecca. Them living in the desert and going to meet Satan is punishment enough. Hey, at least the desert prepares them for an eternity in Hell after their pathetic suicidal glory farts.

Speaking of ignorance, Islam isn't a race. There are white muslims, brown muslims, yellow muslims, maybe even a red muslim or two. Rather, it is an ideology - and a brutal, intolerant one at that.
And, since that ideology mostly revolves around killing my fellow americans and innocent christians, I am perfectly justified in opposing it.. dontcha think?

Gideon, your last sentence is totally supportable. But don't base your opinions on Islam on the actions of Bin Laden and company. That's like basing your opinions of Christianity on The Crusades or the Inquisition. And furthermore, Islam is not an ideology, it's a religion. A religion that is being used as a front by Bin Laden to give their fanaticism some legitimacy.

It was that idiotic book that James Michener wrote called Legacy, which was full of American crap propaganda. Usually his books are rational, but this was garbage. I was so pissed off that I tore it up and flushed it. Are you saying that American soldiers are too stupid to tear paper? Hmm, you may have a point there.
