Didnt taste like salt in september.
Bed time or I could try explain that parts are salt and most of it is fresh where it flows in.

But you could google it yourself and save me the long winded explanation it would take.

Thanks.
You were drinking bottled water while drunk thinking it was water from Hudson's Bay.
It's fresh water, the lake is connected to Hudsons bay,it has a high and a low tide.

End of argument.

Uh huh. And on what part of the Liberal or NDP websites were people doing this vote swapping?

[huh] So unless it's on a Liberal or NDP website it doesn't exist? There was vote swapping sites out there, and everyone was complaining about how the Canadian voting system is broken and this is how they were going to fix it. An interestingly enough they all followed the ABC mantra.

No, unless it's on a Liberal or NDP website, it's not the Liberals or NDP doing it. Your Conservative party is actively breaking, bending, subverting, and changing the rules. And that's far worse.

I didn't say Liberal or NDP, I said the left is complaining that the system is broken. I don't know wtf you are talking about.

Exactly. It's a lake.

Ok,lets try this again,Rankin inlet takes there drinking water straight out of Hudsons bay,my camp was a mile from Rankin inlet.

Clear enough for you?

Where do you think the Inuuit get their drinking water from?
Wells drilled through 100 feet of permafrost into the Canadian shield?

Sobeys?

Because its a commentary on Obama's fiscal policy, 'spreading the wealth' this gif is relating that policy to a rap video where the black musicians are throwing money around.

Its not side slitting funny but is can give someone a smirk.

You need to work on that sense of humor hwacker...

Rap has ruined the black culture, kids think it’s cool to imitate this crap they see on TV, shooting people and treating women as cattle is something you want to promote ok fine. Go to any urban city and talk to the black kids, if that won’t clue you in to why they’ll never make anything in their life maybe because they can’t even speak English but they sure can act like snoop dog.

yeah thats hilarious

 The only reason rap culture is popular is because of middle white America buying the music. If you dont like it take it up with them.

I don't give a fuck about rap, I do care about some shithead thinking he's 50 Cent with a gun.

Well while the small-l left piddles around with a few dozen vote swaps, the effect of which is debatable, the big-R Right is in power, actively changing the system that it's been railing has been broken for years and years.

The system was broken, according to you, because the PM had the unrestricted power to call an election whenever he felt like, and he did so in 2000. That wasn't fair, you cried, so you wanted fixed election dates. So you passed a "law" when you got into power "fixing" election dates, but then that became inconvenient, so you "broke" it.

The system was broken, according to you, because the PM wasn't appointing the senators you wanted him to. So he tried to restrict the length of senators' terms. Thankfully, that didn't pass, but the attempt was made.

The system was broken, according to you, because you weren't allowed to spend as much money as you wanted on campaign ads. So you used this little in-and-out scheme to get around the limits, but you were found out. Than you called that election so you wouldn't be forced to face the music in the ethics committee, but before you did, you started running ads before the spending cap came into effect.

BOTH sides have been complaining that the system is broken. But where the left farts around with small scale, completely legal vote swaps, the Left holds referenda on changing the rules and otherwise obeys them while the Right does everything it can to unilaterally fix (not fix as in correct, fix as in rig) the system in its favor.

That's what I'm talking about.

ziggy @ Wed Nov 05, 2008 9:12 pm

All the innuit communities such as chesterfield inlet, whale cove, rankin, baker all take their drinking water from the hudsons, they also get their goods from barges that come from Hudsons bay,it's fresh water on that side, not salt.

Their lakes are the sea to them, how do you think they migrated?

Anyway,if you think it's salt water then fine. Many thousands of people would disagree, especially the ones drinking it.

I've never said the system was broken. I do think the senate needs reform.

The thing about PR comes up after every election and it's usally the side that looses that calls attention to it.

You, plural, conservatives, Conservatives, and other assorted right-wingers of varying political stripe have complained about, railed against, disagreed with, bitched about, and generally threw temper tantrums every time a left wing government did something that was within its right to do but which you had some quarrel with because it didn't advance your agenda. How's that for semantics?
