Racism is racism, and supporting anybody on their skin color, be it black, white, yellow, purple, green, I don't care, is racism.
I don't think you quite understand why he was elected president. It was almost CERTAINLY less than 1% about him being a better candidate. Many things it was, but voting for the better man to be president, it was not.

It is my opinion based on an examination of evidence from a variety of voters in a variety of areas. I've heard two people in the past year discuss actual issues pertaining specifically to a candidate (in person, not counting TV/radio), rather than a party.
The overwhelming majority favored either skin color or the inherent evil of republicans in general as their primary motivation to vote.
At least we have a president who is good at Guitar Hero, amirite? Who needs to pay attention to defense budgets and a crashing economy when you're good at speeches!

Oh man, you're totally right! I completely forgot that the white house held more than one person. Here I was thinking that he wrote bills with a pen and talked to people as he campaigned for votes on the House and Senate floor.
People don't vote for Obama's PR administrator's understudy's assistant's intern. They vote for Obama. To suggest that the president does not hold the majority of the power in the country is more than a bit ignorant.
