Spin doctors on BOTH sides are in melt down because propaganda doesn't do nuance and the social media platforms are tuned to placate the doomers. Nihilism is for losers and light is a disinfectant.

   

   

Cenk is being melodramatic as usual. Are there better candidates than Biden? absolutely. But to change the ticket now is such a bad look that it would brutally hamstring the chances of the replacement candidate.

   

As long as the threat of Trump is viable Biden has no choice but to run again. He is the one the establishment trust the most and Cenk can wail all he wants but progressives didn't even run against him this time. Take a hint Cenk! Trump is an adverse threat to all of us.


Biden has one more run left in the tank. Feinstein was the most conservative senator in the democratic party and she was representing California. At the point where she needed power of attorney to function she should have been disqualified from holding office. This is a clear case of elder abuse and I hold Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi both in contempt for that. Biden still has his wits about him and dare I say has been much better than expected. He just needs to endure the maga storm for one more term and they will break.

   

Yep, the time for Biden to announce a single term was probably in his first 18 months so he could throw his support behind the replacement. Now they're stuck.
