I can't help but suspect that Garland - appointed by rhe previous administration - put those bits in the report to affect the election, They didn't need to be there.

That's because he is a trained presenter. He doesn't detract from the focus he is trying to create. He may have been a toastmaster but more likely it is his military instructor background that is predominate. He does do a fair amount of self defence classes.
That's the genius of his 'dude in a shack' persona. Everything he has in background can but just clutter or there on purpose and he doesn't draw attention to it, he leave that up to the viewer to see. That's his entire ethos, present the facts and let the viewer make the call from there.

Like Beau said, they asked for 10,000 and got TEN TIMES THAT. Joe is taking on water and as much as the age issue hurts him, this can kill him. That said Trump is down by a third in the same race so they may just stay the course and hope Trump keeps floundering.

The MSM reaction to this is surprising. Looks like they are having a come to Jesus moment. The spell may at last be broken as a lot of the people who were kept in line with 'Trump bad must vote Biden' in media are now starting to see the limits of that appeal in practical terms. The media is lousy with APAC lobby infiltration but money alone isn't going to win elections.
