I apologize for being an ignorant canadian.
New York-Adirondack Mountains are a must see, along with NYC!
Massachusetts-Boston;best city in the world! Has Harvard too
California-Hollywood, beaches, San Francisco, beautiful weather
South Carolina-Manages to be southern and somewhat successful lol!
Florida-Disney World, Epcot, Universal, beaches, Everglades are another must see!
I can't believe that only one person mentioned Michigan! It's my home state, so it's my first choice.
I firmly believe that Canada could annex parts of Michigan. First off though, you'd need to understand my breakdown of the state of Michigan. I think that it should actually be three seperate states.
1)The Upper Pennisula
2)The Lower Pennisula
3)Metro Detroit
Canada could easily take over the UP, because no one would really care. The LPers wouldn't care and the UPers would have to wake up to vote.
Metro Detroit would be a hard sell, but I think we're halfway there anyways. We've got Tim Hortons, a Hockey Dynasty, Casinos, Comedy Clubs, and a bunch of other subtle canadiana that no one seems to notice. We were the only thing that kept Michigan from being an overwhelming red state back in November.
In conclusion, not only is Michigan the greatest US State, but I vote it should be the next Canadian territory.
