Ummm, the Patriots play in Foxborough, Mass. New England includes Mass, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

New England Patriots is just the name of an NFL football team. It's home state is only Massachusetts, though. It's the same with the Carolina Panthers. They are based out of North Carolina only. Hope this has helped.
