They disagree on a fundamental level on pretty much everything. That won't result in unity. One is a progressive, one is a regressive. The reason it worked with Lincoln is they had similar goals, and ran on a platform they both agreed on, namely abolishing slavery and building the transcontinental railroad and winning the war.

Which is great, but those aren't policy. That's mind set. Also, Crenshaw doesn't support evidenced based decision making considering his stance on climate change, health care, the coronavirus, and I'm sure a number of other things. You can't have evidence based decision making when you ignore the evidence of a problem.
