Things are off the hook bad. God help us.

   

Well, God help/save the US anyway. Canada certainly isn't great either but, for the moment anyway, we're not crashing a runaway train with a dementia-stricken lunatic at the controls over a cliff the way the Americans are.

   

No kidding. There's a lot to not like about Trudeau and even if you hate him with every fibre of one's being, he still didn't let a plague run rampant through the country.

Here's hoping we keep the border with the US closed indefinitely; not just for public health reasons. But to keep as many crazies out as we can as the country collapses.

   

The most twisted thing is that Trump actually succeeded in the leadership task he was elected to do. He wasn't voted in to make the country better or lead on the world stage. He was voted in by The Fans for one express purpose only, and that was to impose & lead an agenda that would fuck over all the people that the American right blindingly & rabidly hates. And on that level he's done his job, no matter what the monetary or moral cost has been to America or the world. Trump did the job they wanted him to do, and there's very little else out there that could be considered frightening than someone winning a great ideological victory by deliberately making things horribly worse than they were before.

   

Exactly. Trump is the culmination of forty plus years of right wing ideology that thinks that government needs to be utilized only for the benefit of the rich and privileged and used to punish the rest. He was the perfect vessel to bring about the near ruination of America.

There honestly needs to be a secessionist movement again. But this time the blue states ought to make their own countries (WS, OR and CA on the west coast and the New England states on the east) where normal people can live and work and have governments that actually care about their citizens needs. And the MAGA crowd can have the rest of the country where they can worship their orange god and hate on all non-WASP’s and everyone else they don’t like as they live in their unregulated squalor.

   

In the last couple weeks it's surprising Biden doesn't have a 90% lead in the polls. Almost looks like Trump is purposely setting himself up to lose so he can spend the rest of his life whining that the election was stolen from him.
The fool will lose his Presidential immunity and can whine all he wants from behind bars.

   

   

The Biden / Harris ticket is pro-war, pro-wall-street and all about filling prisons.

If we had stayed in KY instead of moving back to Canada 13 years ago, I'd be voting third party this time around.

   

Yeah but you probably would’ve ended up with several sister-wives who vote Republican
