Wouldn't it be nice to be able to wear an american flag instead of a Canadian one when you're out traveling abroad?

hwacker hwacker:

You go to midnight mass then go home and have a late meal. But by then it's Christmas day.

In Sweden it’s call Monday and next year it will be called Tuesday.

Have a Merry Monday you secular progressive.

I don't go to mass. And we celebrate Christmas the 24th, here as well. Eat a family dinner around 8-9. Start giving gifts around 10-11.

I don't wear American flags when I'm traveling, or any other flag. And I have travelled a good chunk of the world, with the exception of Asia.

I have a better one for you though, wouldn't it be nice if you actually use the grey matter between your ears once and a while instead of believing anything that suits your bias?

I think you would be surprised how well informed some parts of Europe are of the political climate in america.

Oh yea, and I forgot to mention that the military types seem to make all kinds of stupid assumptions about your politics if you don't like our so-called "conservative" Prime Minister.

If you don't like the strong man approach to running things in this country, you must they all assume, be a "socialist."

The tendency to throw political labels at people who disagree with them comes from their insecurity and inability to structure argument.

The real truth, though, is that an increasing number of pundits dislike Harper because they suspect he's not a true conservative. Rather, his sympathies seem to lie in the direction of the international "nanny" state that exists to foist "democracy building" cultural engineering projects on other nations.

Many of his sympathies are, in other words, not conservative but sort of meld with America's anti-conservative neo-Liberal or "neo-conservative" movement of "big" and statist foreign intervention.

Many true Canadian conservaties despise Bush and hate Harper.

Glenn Fitzgerald.

Well.. they do have a point. I am a Socialist.
But sadly, Sweden too, who was once a sanctuary for socialistic ideals, is now sinking in the same neo-liberal cesspool you so eloquently described.
I'm thinking.. revolution?

I'm thinking....you'll get your revolution(remember Malmo?) then you can come on here and tell us of the virtues of sharia law.
