So it's okay for you to presume that I should agree with all the opinions of the members of the party I support, but if I dare turn the tables on you and ask if I can make the same assumption, I'm a demagogue?

You accused me of being a demagogue less than five minutes after calling me "anti-québécois" with nothing to back up your vicious and hurtful claim. Does anyone else think this is completely outrageous and unacceptable?

Why don't you answer my question: according to your above comment, you seem think that a good liberal agrees with everything the party's elected members say. So I ask you: does the same go for you? Do you think the referendum of 1995 was lost because of money and ethnic votes? I'd like a yes or no answer to that last question, please.

Just to lift our spirits a little bit :

When an anglo-federalists is posessed by the devil, how do you exorcise him?

Instead of waiving a cross, you waive a Quebec flag.
Check the picture I just sent you. Looks like the Saskatchewan flag doesn't in any way cheapen the Canadian flag.
It doesn't. It's smaller, so no matter how it's held, the Canadian flag is deemed more important.

You still didn't answer. Is the Fleur-de-Lis your provincial flag? Do you not think that it, flown by itself would anger some Canadians?

You're reaching pretty far here, try not to hurt your back!

I am not Jennifer Carroll and I don`t know what she had in mind when she displayed the flag.

She is an anglo-quebecker. Is she a federalist or a sovereigntist? Delenda:

You asked me if I knew that Coderre and Robillard had disapproved of Johnson's behaviour and said, if I may translate, 'one is either a liberal or one isn't, right? You, you are anti-quebecois'

To which I answered "So, by your reasoning, you also think that the 1995 referendum was lost because of money and ethnic votes, right? Right? That led you to accusing me of demagoguery.

So I'll ask again: do you think the referendum of 1995 was lost because of money and ethnic votes? Please answer me, without insults this time if possible.
Geez, are you ever hard-headed.
I realize you've just met me - but you have no idea! If you want a discussion, then questions usually follow answers.
I just told you that if I had been in Jennifer Carrol's place, I wouldn't even waived the Canadian flag at all! Because I don't recognize the Canadian flag.
I guess that'll have to do. We coulda saved a couple pages if I had an answer when you brough up the whole "the ROC picks on Quebeckers for flying their flag . . ." whining.

Imagine these things happen at the Olympics:

A person on the Spanish Olympic team flys a Basque flag (by itself).
A person on the American team flys a Southern Rebel flag (by itself).
A person on the Canadian team flys a Quebec flag (by itself).

Now, assuming these other two people make it to the plane and arrive safely home, they would probabally have to pull a Salaman Rushdie in order to survive more than a couple days. Contrary to what some countries would have you believe, the Olympics is not about Politics.

Jennifer Carrol, intentionally or not, made it political and slapped Canada in the face at the same time. The ROC did not pick on Jennifer Carroll. They went pretty easy on her. I believe I've explained why.
Saskatchewan 4; Quebec 0. Dino @ Thu Nov 04, 2004 3:13 pm

Delenda did it ever cross your mind that when people see someone from Quebec waving there flag the first thing that comes to out minds is "i wonder if that person is a seperatist?"

When the saskatchewan flag was waved no one reacted. That's because if you look at our canadian constitution all provinces have signed on. They accept that they are provinces and that they won't break up. Now when you look at Quebec no one knows how they view themselves and we know that Quebec could still break up the country. If Quebec was in the constitution during the time the athlete had waved the flag believe me the english media would have reacted differently. The media knows the day Quebec ratifies the constitution (as in sign it) that the talk of seperation is over forever because my parents told me that when you enter into a constitution willingly it's a legal document.Quebec (if they were to sign) couldn't in 20 years decide that they want to be a country because the Canadian government wouldn't have to care neither would the international community.

Why was the Quebec waved in 1995 by the ROC, just before the referendum? I couldn't believe it when I saw on TV our flag being waved in Toronto, Vancouver, etc. with a multitude of people around it. People in Brockville even did a little Quebec flag waving "repair ceremony" for what they had done to it a few years earlier (they stepped on it). In the love rallye in Montreal, people even had a fleurdelys drawn on their face...

What a sickening, self-serving manifestation of hypocrisy!

Seems like the only time you have respect for our flag is when you are in a state of panic over losing us...

Finally, if you look at it this way, there are 54 MPs for the Bloc and 99 for the Conservatives. That is almost half of the population that doesn't want a centralized Canada.
