For those wanting to experiemtn with Hip Hop and mixing on CKA, you can try eJay Virtual DJ. It has turn tables and beat matching and all that good stuff. It also works with the SC plugin.

Oh yeah... I didn't notice the "14 day trial" thing...

Thanks, but maybe I'll just stick to Winamp :?

CKA Radio will have to buy it with licence for it's DJs.

Does anyone know if there is a way to download the cka radio broadcast to a computer...in short is there anyway to save the songs being played to my computer with winamp or media player.

i dont think right through winamp or WMP, but there are programs that let you rip audio streams. I saw a bunch on google when looking for winamp broadcast alternatives

Just wanted to know how I get a slot if I want to do some djing.

bossdog @ Sun May 28, 2006 10:18 am

send a PM to canadaka with the name of your show and the slot you want. If you just want to fill in dead air time, you can just go ahead and start playing.

Need some help again. I've got winamp and all the plugins but how do I actually play on CKA Radio? I'm a bit of a computer spaz.

bossdog @ Tue May 30, 2006 2:08 pm

There are screenshots on page 3 of this thread that should help.

Newfy @ Tue May 30, 2006 2:09 pm

Thanx once again.

Canadaka @ Thu Jun 01, 2006 3:04 pm

anyone know of a winamp plugin to preview what song it will pick as the next random/shuffle song?

Canadaka @ Sun Nov 12, 2006 11:07 pm

well it could pick the next random song as soon as the current song starts, and keep that saved in memory.
