Hi everyone, just found this site, its pretty wonderful! I've had a great time reading everyones opinions, jokes and ramblings.
I'm from Saskatchewan, very close to the Manitoba border, a small town called Hudson Bay, origionally I'm from Saskatoon. Our small town boasts itself "The moose Capital of the world" I haven't lived here long, but that still makes me laff. We have a statue of an anatomically correct moose and our bakery is called "the hudson Bay-kery"..... very Canadian after-school-special like I love Canada, even the middle of it. I'm a 30 year old married female with a boat load of kids. Nice to meet you all.

Well Skatch, welcome from the far west.... Boat load of kids? enough to start your own hockey team?.....
The actual community that I live in is called Moose Heights. We Canadians do love our moose don't we.....
Welcome Skatch.
I just became a member not too long ago, but have been stuck in these political forums tryint to show Canada that not all Americans are blinded bigots. American friend here to say, Canada does in fact kick ass.
Hello from the East... We also have an oversize moose in NS, not too far from Halifax. We really love those mooses. I started out in Quebec City, joined the CAF and ended up in NS. I just love it here. I am only 36 and I am already planning to retire here.
4 kids actually QBCguy, and a dog. Feels like a boat load, but a hockey team no.... just a curling team
Thanks for the welcome everyone, and so far the moose thing baffles me, I'm a proud canadian but all the moose I've seen are INCREDIBLY ugly. That hanging skin off their chins... yuck. The look much better in statue form And don't even get me started on beaver......
