Overconfident trucker, guess it's easier to put the jewelry on this way.
Seeing all the trucking pics got me remembering. Does a trucking company by the name of TOTRAN still exist?
Jess curious. Friends of the family moved out there in the late 70's early 80's and that is where Charlie wound up. Never did figure out if Charlie was part owner or what the whole story was. But then I was 15 or 16 at the time and details were never a big thing..... LOL
Stripping R.O.W. for a W.I.N. energy 10 inch line in southern Alberta. This is about 20 miles east of the rocky mountains so the topsoil is very thick from the strong west winds.
Somebody found a mud pit on a lease,a mud pit is a hole they dig to pump the drill mud into from the rig. They can be pretty deep and straight wall to the bottom. These are cleaned out when the hole is drilled and the well shut in and the lease reclaimed.
ooops!
Gotta love those bulls!

Here for the big bucks and dreams. There all good folks who made the big gamble and I hope they do well. With no contacts its pretty hard to break into the patch so I'll be giving them some websites today from some who are hiring that I know of.
Sure interesting talking to them though,I allways give them a big Alberta welcome and thank them for helping build this province.Makes me proud to be a Bertan and I know how first impressions can be.
