With all the Albertans on this forum it would be nice for some others to share pics of the patch, pipelining,or whatever.

So cmon Dino and RH,I know you 2 have some nice pics. 8)

Surely you have seen a few of these in Alberta?

That pics off an Alberta back road.

Gezzzz Zig, when I was herding iron we were knocking down an average 15 to 17000 tons of gravel a day, we didn't have much time to take pictures. Either did the loader operator

I've got a great Power Point thingy on Mining accidents, is there a way for me to post it on here? Didn't have much time to learn about computers either. :D

When were those Ft. Nelson pics taken?

About 2 months ago...Took a load of tubing to a lease they were buildig a compressor station on.. Took us nearly 7 hrs to travell the 12 km once we went off the highway.. one lane single tyrack as you saw in the pics Ice road so we couldnt use chains and a lot of times we had to wait for the grader to come get a stuck vehicle moved out of the way

I'll have some nice fresh pics in a week or so of a reclamation job I'm going to do starting next week. This one's huge and it's not oilpatch but reclaim so it's related.
Reclaiming a mountain I pioneered the roads on back in 85 or so.
At about 2400 meters it's on top of the world.I watched this mountain fail and slide many years ago revealing one of B.C.'s biggest dino track finds.Posted the vid on google from the deck of the worlds largest loader as it slid down in front of me.
I saw a 200 tonne truck go over the dump and it's still there buried,I may "bump" in to it with the corner bit of the d11.

Close to home(1.5 commute one way)Something to do for the summer and home every night for the first time in 4 years.

I may have to hit the greenhouse for some nice hanging plants for the deck.

Heading up to Coronation today and will be working 25k east of there.I dont even know what were doing but it's laying something in the ground.

I'll be staying at the Coronation hotel if any of you close by want to come for a cold one after work.Look for the red chev crewcab with NWT licence on the front and a big red fuel tank on the back.

Pics to follow.

Not at a 5.5mbps connection. I'm sure it will be fixed soon and then i can break the sterotype once again about how expensive it is to live in Alberta with some pics of some nice towns where you can work steady in the patch and buy a house for under $100,000 and be home every night.

Why does everyone think they have to live in Calgary, fort mac or Edmonton to make money?

That's the rat race big time.

Well I wanted to show the pics of the arc marks on my hoe where I took over 5000 volts yesterday,it wasnt a line strike as I never got close to the line but it was a single and I should have been good for the distance I was from it but it arced still the same and blew the ground wire off the feed line. Everthing was tucked in as in boom and bucket but that farmer must have a grow op for that kind of voltage to be going through the line.

DBC is looking for an experienced hoe operator here, with exceptional skills around everything that can be buried in the ground, fiber optics everything. And everything is main lines between Cal and Ed. Sounds like it's just calling for you Zig. There’s about a km of that.
