:D canadian cold fronts? Jeez elk6x6 it was t-shirt weather all winter here. :) this is no shit . I began wearing my cutoffs in march. Mind you I did feel sorry for parts of the states and the maritimes they got hammered a few times. So have a Pil on me [BB]
chopper hows things around Cold Lake ? I played a lot of hockey and baseball in that area in my younger days.

It's raining and snowing right now. I love it here! Bear season is open, and we're starting to see some action. Life is good all around!

Alberta's great. A lot like Sask. but a little busier. More excitment. Peeler bars. Can't have those in Sask. You've got some mountains. I find it odd that you guys enjoy Pil. When ever I ask for Pil in Alberta they look at me funny, and then ask if I'm from Sask..

Diffident_Albertan @ Sun Apr 24, 2005 9:16 pm

All I gotta say is mountains... mountains... mountains...

oh.. and mountains.

Diffident_Albertan @ Sun Apr 24, 2005 9:23 pm

lily lily:
You've only got mountains on the one side. And you only have those because we here in B.C. have enough that we don't mind sharing.

Erinites...
How come that guy has tan lines?
Oh... it was probably taken in the middle of July. :D

Well I sure enjoy that side of the divide as well.

That pic is my neighbour - digging out from that major storm in Edmonton last year.

Things I like about Alberta:
- My old apartment with a kickass view of the Edmonton River Valley and downtown.
- Barbeques and Ultimate Frisbee in Hawrelak Park
- You can get half and half (choc and coffee) at a Tim's on pretty much every street corner for about 10% of the price of the same thing from Starbucks.
- Road trips to the mountains
- Jasper Park Lodge (when I feel rich)
- Pyramid Lake Resort (when I don't)
- Backcountry camping in Kananaskis
- Julio's Barrio on Whyte Ave.

Things I don't like in Alberta:
- People who never go anywhere and therefore think that Alberta is the centre of the world (you find these people everywhere, but we have more than our share of them).
- Not enough companies operating on an international level.
